You have no doubt seen a Buddhist monk in Golden robes, at some point in your life or at least a picture. However how often do you see a demised monk in robes? Born to a prominent family in 1894 within a closely knit community he took robes at the age of 20 only to disrobe after two years. Upon completing his duties to the six children he fathered he once again took robes once again. Having completed a session of deep meditation within the Tham Yai he lived in Koh Samui as a greatly respected Buddhist Abbot.
