Before or after your time at the beach, you can engage in some sightseeing in Dickwella. One of the most popular attractions here is the 50-metre tall statue of a seated Buddha which can be found at the Wewurukannala Vihara. Also worth visiting is the market on Saturday that takes place near the beach.
