If you want to experience Uluwatu’s magic in Bali, this 2-day schedule is all you need. Uluwatu has great attractions and things to do, from swimming to exploring the culture and more!
Day 1: Experience the Beaches
First check into your hotel. There are many top Uluwatu Resorts you can book that offer great amenities, such as Anantara Uluwatu Bali. Start your day at Padang Padang Beach, a hidden cove that you will have to reach through a rock tunnel. It’s the perfect spot for sunbathing or taking a morning dip. Suluban Beach, or Blue Point, is another favourite among surfers and photographers due to its limestone caves and turquoise water.
Explore the Temples
For lunch, you can grab a bite at Single Fin, a clifftop restaurant facing the ocean. Next, head to the famous Uluwatu Temple (Pura Luhur Uluwatu). Set on a cliff, this Balinese temple is a must-see for visitors to the island. Don’t miss watching the sunset Kecak Fire Dance!
Day 2: Hidden Beach Spots
Begin your day by walking to Green Bowl Beach. You’ll have to reach this place by climbing a long staircase. It’s worth it, however. When you get there, you can experience the peaceful ambiance and admire the sea views. Later, sit down to brunch at The Cashew Tree, which offers fresh, organic food.

Enjoy the Views
In the evening, head to Melasti Beach. Surrounded by cliffs and white sands, it’s a great place to unwind. If you like, make a sunset reservation at Sundays Beach Club—where you can kayak, enjoy cocktails, and lounge by a cozy bonfire on the beach.
Traveller’s Tips
Renting a scooter is one of the best ways to travel around Uluwatu. You could also hire a driver who can double as your guide. Make sure to dress modestly when visiting temples. If you want to go swimming, always check the tide charts before you do. Low tide is the best time to visit some beaches.
