The south-western coast

The southern coast
The southern coast covers popular destinations such as Hikkaduwa, Galle, Unawatuna, Koggala, Tangalle, and Hambantota. Sports such as scuba-diving and surfing are popular on these beaches.
The rivers
Sri Lanka has more than 100 rivers, and in addition to all these, there are also the lakes. Kayaking and canoeing are some popular water sports on rivers such as Kalu Ganga and Kelani Ganga.

Trekking is a wonderful team activity to engage in, and destinations like Horton Plains, the Knuckles, and Hakgala Strict Natural Reserve are ideal for such experiences. Sri Lanka has great spots for mountain biking, cave trekking, rock climbing, and paragliding too.
