Getting There
The local MRT service has stops in front of the park, namely at the Lumpini and Silom stations, while the site is within a 15-minute drive from Anantara Sathorn Bangkok Hotel. Do keep in mind that the park is open from 4:30am to 9:00pm and entrance is free.

Easy to reach for those staying at a nearby Sathorn hotel Bangkok has to offer, Lumpini Park provides plenty of idyllic spaces to unwind; there’s even an artificial lake with paddleboats. You can read under a shady tree, have a family picnic, let the kids have fun at playgrounds or take a leisurely stroll with that special someone.
For Active Visitors
The park is also ideal for recreation. It is not uncommon to see people practising tai chi, going for a jog, shooting hoops or working out at the gym located outdoors. Biking is another popular activity here (allowed between 10:00am and 3:00pm), while free aerobics sessions are held too.

Lumpini Park not only provides a place to rest for humans but wildlife as well! As you wander around this attraction in Bangkok you are likely to see everything from squirrels to water monitors. Over 30 bird species have also been spotted here making it an ideal place for birdwatching enthusiasts.
