Weather patterns
Contradictory to the northern part of Vietnam that goes by the 4 seasons, Hoi An has only 2 seasons throughout the year which is the dry season (February – August) and the wet season (September – January). The best month to visit would be April when the weather is perfect!
Getting there
Once you land at Da Nang International Airport, you can take a taxi straight to Hoi An. There are also buses, shuttle service and even airport transfers provided by a few hotels in Hoi An as well.
How long to stay
The very best of Hoi An can be experienced in as short as a period of three days. Do keep in mind that most places are closed during the Tet holiday and hotel rates in places like Anantara Hoi An Resort are at its highest. Therefore, it is advisable not to visit between the end of January and early February.
