The experience
Diving through the deep clear waters of the Indian Ocean is a blissful experience. Swim alongside colourful fish, sea turtles, and many other marine creatures while you dive.
Trying the experience for the first time
If you are someone staying at one of the Galle hotels and don’t know the basics of diving, you can still start diving in Galle. There are agents providing theory classes for beginners, and then the practical exposures.
Take a diving tour
For a general diver, a guided tour will allow us to go deep up to about 12m. All diving equipment is provided to the diver so that your safety is ensured all throughout.
Pushing the limit
Advanced divers can go deeper up to around 30m. And if you are someone staying at a resort such as Fortress Resort and Spa and are interested in night time diving, this too can be done in Galle without an issue.
