Uluwatu
Uluwatu is Bali’s premier spot for surfing and this is where all the tourists flock to! This region boasts a number of Bali resorts, the likes of Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort. The cliffs and beach at Uluwatu are constantly bustling with energy and makes for a spectacular viewing platform.
Kuta Beach
Tourism in Bali began with Kuta Beach, therefore this area is rather popular too. The long stretch of golden sand provides a stunning coastline for beachgoers and a safe bottom for all surfers of every level.
Balangan
The Balangan has been preserved and remains one of the many left-handers along the Bukit. Choose your peak accordingly. Although this isn’t the best spot for beginner surfers, you can give it a shot!
Blackstone
Not too far from many an expert level reef breaks, this spot is manageable for beginners and intermediate surfers. Getting its name from a chunk of black basalt exposed to the north of the reef’s long point, do make sure to add this to your surfing spot list!
