Remember that addictive game called Angry Birds? Well, it has become so popular that it even has a special indoor park in Johor Bahru, Malaysia!
Planning A Visit
The first Angry Birds-based theme park in Southeast Asia, this attraction is in the KOMTAR JBCC mall in the city centre. Those at Desaru-based beach resorts in Malaysia including properties such as Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas can easily plan a trip to this site, open from Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00am to 7:00pm.
For Younger Kids
Small kids will love the South Beach zone that caters to them with plenty of space to run and play; highlights include Captain Black Birds Ship with a mini playground and climbing nets, Cinemine showing Angry Birds shows and Balance Bike Lagoon where children can try balancing on a bike without pedals!
Key Attractions
Older kids have much to enjoy too at the Angry Birds GO! Kart Track and the Birds Nest Climbing Track; also on offer is the Space Drop Airbag for those not afraid of heights and taking a leap onto an airbag! The Anti-Gravity Trampolines is another favourite as are the Laser Maze Spaceship and the Piggy Shooting Gallery.
Dining & Shopping
After all that activity, kids are bound to be hungry and there is a café here which offers yummy treats. There’s a parents’ lounge too which is an ideal spot to rest and as you would expect, the onsite souvenir shop is a great place to buy some Angry Birds-themed merchandise to take back home.
