An all-inclusive holiday can make a Maldives trip considerably easier to plan. Because most resorts occupy private islands, dining elsewhere is rarely practical, and meals, drinks and activities can add substantially to the final cost of a stay. A carefully chosen all-inclusive package helps travellers understand more of their holiday budget before arrival while still enjoying premium dining, recreation and island experiences.
What Should a Good All-Inclusive Package Cover?
Not every all-inclusive plan offers the same benefits. Some packages mainly include buffet meals and selected beverages, while premium plans may extend to speciality restaurants, minibars, excursions, water sports and wellness activities.
Before booking, check restaurant restrictions carefully. A resort with six restaurants does not necessarily include unlimited dining at all six.
Transfers also matter. Domestic flights, seaplanes and speedboats can represent a significant additional cost, so packages that include or discount transfers may provide stronger overall value.
Which Maldives resorts offer the best all-inclusive packages?
These three resorts demonstrate different approaches to all-inclusive island holidays.
1. The Residence Maldives at Dhigurah – Luxury Villas and Extensive Dining
For travellers researching Maldives Dhigurah, The Residence Maldives at Dhigurah offers a luxury island setting where every villa has a private pool. The resort also connects with its sister property at Falhumaafushi, expanding the dining choices available across the two islands.
Key highlights:
- All-inclusive options include selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- In-villa minibars are replenished daily under applicable packages.
- Complimentary sunrise and sunset yoga are included in selected offers.
- Daily non-motorised water-sports time can include kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.

This option suits travellers who want private-pool accommodation with a broad range of dining and activity choices.
2. OZEN LIFE MAADHOO – Premium Indulgence with Experiences Included
OZEN LIFE MAADHOO takes a more comprehensive approach through its all-inclusive concept.
Key highlights:
- Selected international beverages form part of the plan.
- Buffet, fine-dining and themed dining are incorporated.
- Excursions and sunset fishing are among included experiences.
- Non-motorised water sports provide additional activities.
- Return speedboat transfers from Malé are included under its stated plan.
It can be particularly attractive to travellers who prefer to minimise additional charges once they reach the island.
3. Club Med Kani – Active and Social All-Inclusive Holiday
Club Med’s Maldives concept is better suited to travellers who want organised recreation and a more social resort environment.
Key highlights:
- Meals and drinks form part of the all-inclusive model.
- Sports and organised activities add value for active travellers.
- Family and group-friendly facilities create a sociable atmosphere.
- Entertainment gives evenings more structure.
- Water-based activities provide alternatives to simply relaxing on the beach.
Calculate the Real Holiday Cost
Before comparing resorts, add accommodation, transfers, taxes, meals, beverages and activities. A higher all-inclusive rate can sometimes represent better value than a lower room-only rate once these costs are considered.
Travellers should also check exclusions such as premium wines, private dining, diving, spa treatments and certain excursions.
Conclusion
An all-inclusive Maldives holiday is most worthwhile when the package matches how you intend to spend your time. The Residence Maldives at Dhigurah combines private-pool villas with extensive dining and recreational options, OZEN LIFE MAADHOO offers a particularly comprehensive indulgence plan, while Club Med suits travellers seeking organised activity and entertainment. Comparing inclusions rather than headline room rates is the best way to identify genuine value.
