It is one of the first districts that saw the settling by the British spanning a long walkway with temples, civil buildings, old housing and markets that are preserved reflecting its former splendour.
You can cross over to Tai Yuen Street Market which is an alleyway full of stalls that mostly sell kids’ toys, shoes, clothes, accessories and cheap souvenirs where you are sure to find something quite cheap as gifts to take back home and have a fun-filled time. Hop into the fresh market that runs parallel if you want to buy fresh fruits and vegetables and also drop into one of the restaurants lined up for a quick snack or a fresh juice to quench your thirst.
