Designed by an Argentinian architect known as César Pelli, the twin towers were built according to a distinctive post-modern architecture of the 21st century. The construction commenced in 1992 and was open to the public in 1999.
The building has 88 stories and stands at a height of 452 meters. It was built based on Islamic art, which reflects Malaysia’s Muslim country and the floor plan is based on an eight-sided star that has traits of arabesque patterns.
The skybridge is one of the outstanding focal points of the Patronas towers. Located on the 41st floor, the bridge provides a glass walkway between the two towers. Peer down 170meters from the top or choose to go a couple floors higher and visit the observation deck on the 86th floor.
This luxury mall is located inside the Patronas towers and features many and high-end international brands, mainly catering to the tourists and upper-class crowd in Kuala Lampur.
Located in Jalang Ampang – Kuala Lampur, the twin towers are in one of the most affluent cities in Malaysia. If you are looking for a good hotel in Kuala Lampur that is close to the Patronas towers, then you should consider Berjaya Times Square Hotel Kuala Lampur as it is a mere 1.9 km walk, or you could even go by taxi which would take you only around 20 minutes.
